I have a 36 Foot Carver Motor Yacht moored in Portland, and, frankly, I just dont have the time to use it. I get to go to Portland occasioinally (I live an hour away) and stay on the boat for a relaxing weekend at the dock or cruise around a little bit, BUT, I just don’t really get to use the boat like I’d prefer to. I have a partner in the boat, but, he too is simply too busy with work to really get to use the boat. He’s not as interested in letting the boat go, so, you could just buy out my partnership in the boat (for $10K) and have a partner in the boat, OR…
The current loan balance on the Yacht is about $40K and its valued at $65-70K giving $25-30K in equity. I would like to find a 22-28ft boat with trailer (that falls into the $25-30K value range); something I can store at home and take on road trips. If youre boat is paid for that would buy out my equity in the Yacht and, you would need only get a loan for the balance and it would be ALL YOURS! Additionally, Carver is available for FULL purchase…a lot of options, open to discuss anything you might propose IF SERIOUS.
