The entire marina is being dredged over the next several months making the slips even more saught after and more valuable. These slips rarely come up for sale. Keep in mind if you are considering purchase that you may winter boat in the slip as the condo association puts bubblers in to maintain docks and thereby makes many dock owners store boats in water over the winter and simply pay the electrical bill for the bubbler – much cheaper then on land winter storage and makes this a year round slip use.

Other local marinas were asking 2009 seasonal rentals of $4800 plus utilities for 40ft slips (which are not as new or nice) and further up river thereby requiring a lot more travelling time through “no wake” zones to get to the L.I. Sound to enjoy boating.
