Harken Bearing 4 Point Harness Boat Storage System with a 200lb. capacity. I used to use this hoist to store my fishing boat on my garage ceiling. I used to just lower the boat onto the roof of my car or, later on, right on to my folding trailer. It has worked prefectly but I have sold my boat. This hoist is complete and currently stored in an old battery box that can go along with it. The hoist is fairly easy to install and super simple to operate. The mechanical advantage you gain by using this pulley system allows you to easily hoist any boat right up to the ceiling by simply pulling on a rope. It feels like your lifting only a fraction of the actual weight. Would be great for canoe, kayak, dinghy, etc. Harken advertises it’s use for car toppers, Jeep Tops, they even have plans to build a storage shelf.
